WOW-So Busy!!

I haven't been able to blog in a while. I have been so very busy between work and school. Holy Cow! It's been nuts! My boyfriend was back home again this weekend and we had a very enjoyable couple of days. On a happy note we went to the jewelry store to try on engagement rings!! Hoorray-so happy! We are definitely getting married someday and have talked about it a lot but now I guess it's getting time to make it official! So so excited! Anyways I can't believe it's time to start preparing for midterm exams already. Crazy how fast school is going. Good night kids! Have a great Monday!

My end of the day surprise!

Well my day today started at around 3 am this morning when my mother called to tell me she's headed back into the hospital because she is running high fever. Which for most people that's not a big deal but with her it is. My mother had a liver transplant six months ago and running a fever well that's a huge deal for her. Apparently she has some of upper respiratory infection or bronchitis and has been admitted for tests. It's pretty scary because she got sick so fast. So yes a very very long day and now it's 9:40pm and I realized I haven't blogged in a few days. My end of the day surprise was my roses my boyfriend sent to my house for Valentine's day. It's a potted plant of miniature red roses. He loves me and it's so awesome! I am incredibly blessed!! Anyways kids I'm totally exhausted and am going to bed. Good Night and Happy Valentine's Day!!

Long day!

Hello friends! It's Saturday night and I've been reading my Psychology book all afternoon. This week's reading is on What learning style you use to learn and our memory. I have enjoyed the reading actually. I have learned that I am a visual learner which I guessed before I took the test to determine that. So I guessed correctly. It's been a long Saturday! I was able to go for a four mile walk this morning and managed to get to the nail salon which I really needed. I have been really enjoying also reading everyone's essay's in Comp class. Never knew you could learn so much about your classmates in an online class-pretty cool actually. Well folks-gonna get to bed since it's late and I have a lot more to do tomorrow. Psychology disc post and a Humanities test. Good night!!

Sense of Accomplishment!

It's been a great week as far as school goes! My grades are starting to come in and it's nice to see with all the work I've been putting in. I also got my first Math test grade last night-I got a 92!! Hooray!! It's 10:40pm and I just finished my English work for tonight! A 2nd HOORAYYY!! All I have to do now is do my peer responses on Saturday then I can start to focus on my Humanites test and Psychology work . Would love to have just a few more hours in the day...Absolutely love that my office closes at 1pm on Fridays cuz I come straight home and start schoolwork.. This school thing sure has taken all my extra free time I used to have but oh well.I'm expanding my cranium which is awesome blossom!! Good Night!!

Starting to get my head around this writing!

Today is Tuesday, meaning it's not Monday anymore. UGH the dreaded Monday!! I am definitely learning more and more through this Writing class. I feel my confidence building which is awesome!! I find myself scribbling down things as I think of them which really helps. I am challenged trying to be more creative and use more creative words. I feel like I'm building a sand castle at the beach, building it taller and taller and more magnificent the higher it gets.With each level improving as I go up.Stupid analogy but that's what popped up in my head. Although due to the pollen I won't tell you what else resides there. HeeHee.. I hope everyone is having a good productive week. I also try to take mental notes during my day that can help me at night after work in my writing. My aunt made chocolate brownies tonight with Kahlua in them. They were divine and they were dinner. That was all I needed. Nite Nite Termite!!

Good Morning Vietnam!! Ha Ha sorry love that movie! So it's Sunday and I am actually dressed to go to the gym and so excited to be able to finally go back. I have really missed going and am hoping to do better with fitting it in this week. It helps with my stress release to be able to run on the treadmill. It's looks like its going to be a beautiful day! I do have a lot to get done today but still enjoying being home. I have to write my Humanities paper today and study for my first Math test which is Monday so not too bad. Have a great Sunday everyone! Amy

TGIF!

Hello all! I am actually all done with homework tonight and thought I'd blog real quick before shutting er' down! It's been a good but busy week! Started out the week with no working AC/Heat unit but got that fixed without having to sell my first-born son thank goodness. After calling around and checking on the AC man's quote I found out he was trying to take me for $900 which is absolutely crazy! I got it fixed for $225! Woohoo! It pays to shop around! So my computer put a red line under the word woohoo when I typed it in and it wants me to change to boohoo but Oh no there's no boohoo here I saved 800 big ones so no boohoo-ing going on in this establishment! Anyways have a fantabulous weekend folks!! Happy essay writing-ugh!! Amy.
